Our History
Cadro was founded in 1995 and is one of the earliest companies in China to introduce and promote automotive tail lifts (Hydraulic Tail Lifts). It is also the first domestic enterprise to develop and apply integrated hydraulic system technology for specialized vehicles. Over nearly 30 years of focused innovation and persistent effort, we have progressed from technology importation and imitation to independent research and development, and ultimately to global export, achieving a groundbreaking industry transformation from zero to one.

1995
The Beginning
In Shenzhen’s summer heat, Wang Zeli and 5 partners lit the first light in a small workshop — birthing China’s first domestic hydraulic tail lift. Introduced foreign tech, launched local production, exported parts: the start of industry localization.
2000–2002
Breaking Free
After the state-owned enterprise restructuring, we finally shed our burdens. Market-oriented operations felt like a breath of fresh air, giving the team their first real taste of freedom: “If we want to do it, we can.” We began moving forward at our own pace. We assembled our first R&D team, no longer content to follow others, but determined to tackle core technologies. Those were the toughest days, yet also the most hopeful — every failure brought us one step closer to success.
2002–2006
Market Breakthrough
Tail lifts solved real transport problems; orders flooded in, and the market embraced us. In 2004 we debuted at Las Vegas Auto Show, showcasing Chinese manufacturing. High-tech certifications came, we proposed “integrated special vehicle systems,” and joined standards — shifting from follower to leader.
2007–2010
Stronghold Built
Our 260,000 m² factory rose in Yancheng, Jiangsu. We expanded production capacity across the country, transforming from a small workshop into a large-scale, powerful enterprise. For the first time, we could confidently say: we’re not just making products — we’re building the future.
2010–2014
Thriving in Crisis
The financial tsunami hit hard; many peers fell. We chose to double down on expansion during the most difficult times. That period was the toughest, yet it truly allowed us to stand firm.
2015–2016
Leading & Quality
We deeply engaged in national standard formulation, and leadership honors followed one after another. Those years marked our shift: no longer just following, but beginning to lead — even helping set the rules for the entire industry. We were honored with the “Shenzhen Quality Credit Enterprise” title. Quality was no longer just a slogan — it became our solid reputation.
2017
National Recognition
We drove the formulation of the national standard for truck tail lifts. Wang Zeli received the prestigious “National Special-Purpose Vehicle Military-Industrial Figure” honor. Our era had truly arrived.
2019
Intelligent Institute
We participated in multiple national standards and founded the Shenzhen Cadro Intelligent Logistics Technology Research Institute. Our R&D journey evolved from catching up to confidently leading.
2022
Specialized Awards
We earned both Jiangsu Provincial “Specialized, Sophisticated, Unique, and New” Enterprise and Gazelle Enterprise designations — clear proof of the power of focused dedication.
2023
Intelligent Shift
We began construction of global intelligent production lines, marking our shift from “manufacturing” to “intelligent manufacturing.”
2024
Global Service
This year, the CC Series intelligent tail lifts entered small-batch market release, integrating remote monitoring and predictive maintenance to boost efficiency and safety. At the same time, we launched the “K-Service” platform, upgrading our global service system with online consultation, remote diagnostics, and real-time support — ensuring customers receive professional companionship anytime.
2025
Global Leap
We entered the “China Brand 500”; our Jinhua smart factory went into production, achieving a global leap from “manufacturing” to “intelligent manufacturing”; we earned a place in the “Asia Brand 500”; and Mr. Wang Zeli was honored as an Outstanding Entrepreneur in Chinese Brand Innovation.

Cadro operates two state-of-the-art intelligent production bases with a total area exceeding 310,000 m². Equipped with fully automated production lines, precision machining centers, and rigorous quality inspection systems, we ensure every tail lift meets international standards from raw materials to finished product.
Our two factories — strategically located one in the south and one in the north — synergize to serve over 150 countries and regions worldwide. With scale, advanced technology, and high efficiency, we guarantee reliable delivery and long-term stable performance for every partner.
Jiangsu Yancheng Production Base
Spanning 260,000 m², this facility stands as one of the largest single-unit factories in the industry across Asia. Equipped with seven fully automated production lines, the base boasts an annual capacity exceeding 100,000 units, featuring full-process automation from cutting and welding to assembly and coating.
By integrating advanced robotic welding, laser cutting, and intelligent logistics systems, this base serves as the core pillar for Caunion’s large-scale manufacturing and stable delivery capabilities.
Zhejiang Jinhua Smart Factory
Spanning 50,000 m², this facility is positioned as a hub for high-end intelligent manufacturing. Adhering to Industry 4.0 standards, the factory integrates AI vision inspection, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), and predictive maintenance technologies to achieve a fully digitalized and traceable production process.
The factory focuses on the CC series intelligent tail lifts, R&D for future innovations, and small-batch high-end customization. It represents Caunion’s comprehensive evolution from traditional “Manufacturing” to “Smart Manufacturing.”
