The Challenge
The client needed durable, high-performance tail lifts capable of withstanding temperatures exceeding 50°C, frequent sand exposure, and high salinity. In addition, the tail lifts had to integrate seamlessly with their new box trucks while maintaining excellent lifting capacity and operational efficiency for daily loading and unloading tasks. Our Solution
Cadro’s engineering team collaborated closely with the client from the initial design phase. We conducted detailed assessments of the local operating conditions, including temperature fluctuations, sand abrasion, and road characteristics across different regions of Saudi Arabia.
Based on these insights, we developed customized cantilever and folding tail lifts specifically engineered for Middle Eastern desert environments. The platforms utilized high-strength aluminum alloy with advanced surface treatment to provide superior corrosion and sand resistance. The hydraulic systems were optimized for stable performance even in extreme heat, while the reinforced structure ensured long-term durability under heavy daily use.
Throughout the project, our team maintained tight coordination with both the client and the local truck assembly partner. We dynamically adjusted production and delivery schedules to align perfectly with the vehicle manufacturing timeline. The Results
The project was completed successfully and on schedule. All 120 customized Cadro tail lifts were seamlessly integrated with the new trucks.
